RDI Appoint Academic Director

RDI is undertaking an exciting phase of investment and growth strengthening its position as a leader in the online distance learning global HE market.

As part of our strategic plans we are pleased to announce the appointment of John Vaughan as Academic Director who will join RDI's Senior Management Team on 14th May 2012. This newly created position represents a significant investment by RDI's Board of Directors, further demonstrating their commitment to achieving RDI's Mission of becoming an independent Higher Education Institute (HEI) in the near future.

As Academic Director, John will provide academic leadership to the RDI Group that contributes to the development and achievement of its strategic goals with a particular focus on innovation in online learning.  John is a highly experienced academic with a career spanning several decades and universities. Originally graduating in Law, John has subject expertise encompassing business, management and finance. John is currently undertaking comparative research on private sector HE Institutions that will contribute to RDI's academic and research development going forward.
