"University budget cuts mean fewer places for students"

A recent BBC article has highlighted the pressure that the higher education sector in under in terms of funding.

Three quarters of all of England’s universities are set to expect budget cuts, after funding was announced as £7.3bn - £449m less than was expected.

The Higher Education Funding Council has predicted that these cuts could mean 6,000 fewer places this September – at a time when record numbers of people are applying to university.

RDI offers hope

In sharp contrast to this reduction in places, the good news is that RDI continues to offer students the opportunity to secure their September place today. Those keen to begin their studies this Autumn are advised to apply early in order to beat the unprecedented rush for university places and avoid missing out.

However – that’s not all

With truly flexible learning through RDI, there are multiple intakes each year – this means you don’t even have to wait until September to begin. Hundreds choose to get ahead of the rest by beginning their studies when THEY want – in April or July. It means that you can avoid the scramble for places in the Autumn and have complete peace of mind.

Dr Philip Hallam, CEO of RDI states:

“Many [students] are reporting that the uncertainty regarding available places at traditional universities as well as the expense of fees and living costs means that our online learning courses offer a realistic alternative route to gaining a degree”

Thinking of applying online today?
