RDI visit Tanzania
RDI recently visited Tanzania at the e-learning Africa event. Thousands of students with an interest in online learning attended the event, to find information on courses and programmes from institutions within Tanzania and around the world.
The response was fantastic, with many students pleased to meet with a representative who could advise them on UK university distance learning through RDI. African countries are increasingly engaging in the development of ICT-based solutions for education and training.
RDI students range from 18 to 76 and come from over 130 countries worldwide, including many from Tanzania. Online distance learning is an increasingly popular way for many international students to gain their prestigious UK qualification without travelling to the UK. These students join thousands already studying, with many in the UK who benefit from distance learning whilst maintaining their career.
