RDI student blogs now available
At RDI we are constantly looking for new ways to offer you insights into what it's really like to be on a distance learning course. Over the last year we have offered you student testimonials and student insights and have now begun to receive blogs from our students.
Nicky Washida, a UK born, mother-of-two, now
living in Japan, has kindly 'kicked us off' with her blogs covering
completing her HND, moving onto her final year degree and an extra
special surprise this month!
So why has Nicky written these for us? Nicky explains...
"I am a "prolific producer of written work" - to quote my old English teacher
from school(!). Writing is cathartic for me, so producing these blogs is no
problem - good therapy in fact!
I really want to do this because I think
there are a lot of women like me who might be considering distance learning but
don`t have the confidence to just go for it. The whole experience has been so
positive for me that I want to tell as many people as possible about it and
encourage them to do the same. These days all is no longer lost if you don`t go
the traditional straight-to-university route, and from my own experience doing
this later in life has been far more rewarding and relevant!"
