June 4, 2008 - The Pan-African Conference on ICT for Development, Education and Training took place in Ghana at the end of May, an event RDI was proud to attend.

Elearning users, newcomers, providers and experts from 83 countries visited the conference at the Accra International Conference Centre with over 80% of participants coming from African countries*.

Mandy Flemons, RDI's UK representative at the event, was delighted at the turnout. "I was very impressed at the number of different nationalities and indeed, backgrounds of those attending. The passion for distance learning in Africa is clear to see".

RDI's presence at the event highlighted its success in helping thousands of African students gain internationally recognised qualifications through distance learning. RDI continues to work with partners across the continent in order to help students achieve their goals.
