"RDI applications surging"

Applications for distance learning with RDI are surging in as the April intake gathers pace in it's final stages.

Students can get ahead of the rest by starting their UK university Degree, Masters or MBA in April instead of the Autumn. The uncertainty surrounding a shortage of places coupled with the media discussions of an increase in the fees cap may be the reason behind this sharp increase.

Students face missing out on their chosen course in September 2010 after a recent report indicated that universities are facing a huge surge in applications - with increases of up to 38%. However, RDI is helping those who are missing out, giving them a valuable and flexible alternative by studying online.

The modern way to study and work

Studying through RDI gives students the benefits of working whilst studying - gaining valuable career experience and earning a regular wage.

With cutting-edge technology, full tutor support and complete study flexibility, RDI leads the way in making modern learning available to all  - at a significantly lower price than on-campus. A three year university degree with RDI costs an average of £1,750 a year, whilst a two year MBA can cost just £2,500 a year.

Dr Philip Hallam, RDI's CEO explains:

"Students have the freedom to earn whilst studying, have 24:7 access to their materials online, flexible pay-as-you-go options and also benefit from access to the International Management Academy's Online Resource Centre. This way of studying is becoming increasingly popular for the discerning student and it's easy to see why!"
