No place at university? All is not lost!
Thousands of students this year are forecast to be left without a university place, and those missing out this year may have to reapply next year once the fees increase.
However, many A-level students are still not aware that there is a valid and valuable alternative to studying on-campus. Distance learning with RDI allows students to study their UK university degree in their own time, giving them the opportunity to get a foot on the career ladder too – something that many campus based students can begin to consider only after graduation.
RDI are able to offer a full UK university degree at much lower fees than traditional campus-based study, as well as multiple start dates throughout the year for complete flexibility.
Catherine Gordon, head of operations at RDI, believes distance learning is playing an increasingly large role in university education.
“Lots of students are opting for distance learning, particularly in the current climate of rising fees,” she says. “They see it as a way of gaining a degree qualification without incurring the costs associated with the traditional university route.”
