Graduate results improving
A recent article from the BBC shows how the average final classification of degrees has risen over the last 14 years. Those graduating with an upper second class have increased, although third class gradings have risen slightly too.
The largest increase is in those being awarded a first class degree, which has almost doubled in the last 14 years.
This coincides with the news that some employers have tightened the restrictions on graduate places. A report last week by the Association of Graduate Recruiters showing that most recruiters are insisting on a minimum 2:1 grade.
Gain your university qualification the modern way
RDI offer a modern and flexible alternative to gaining a degree or masters. Students are registered with the university but study from home in their own time using RDI's pioneering online campus, ilearn.
There are many benefits of online learning, the biggest being that students can choose to study alongside a full time career. This places them at an advantage once they graduate, giving them up to 3 years professional work experience alongside their qualification.
Many students also benefit from the broad range of students that they can interact with, gleaning valuable and rich life experiences from a variety of backgrounds.
