Distance learning bucks the upward international fee trend for campus students

May 22, 2008 - Fees charged for distance learning programs have not been subject to the same inflationary pressures as discussed in today's Guardian report. In fact, as distance learning courses are offered worldwide to students in their own country, fee rates have to continue to offer value for money.

Dr Philip Hallam of RDI, a Coventry-based company offering UK university qualifications by distance learning worldwide, explains:

"In developing regions of the world, RDI actively manages fees to reflect each economy, offering a wide range of people the opportunity to gain access to prestigous UK University qualifications".

The costs involved are in stark contrast to the figures quoted by the Guardian with an undergraduate degree available for £5500 for a complete course, whilst fees for postgraduates begin at £4250 for a complete MBA. It's easy to see why distance learning is becoming an ever popular choice in an ever competitive international market.
