A gift for Coventry children from the heart of Africa

In December an RDI student from Nigeria entered one of our prize draws and was the winner - however the real story is what Olugbemiga did next!

The hospitalWhen informed of his success, Olugbemiga immediately decided to donate his prize and asked RDI to present it to an organisation local to RDI UK, that helps ill or orphaned children.

The RDI admissions team was delighted to help Olugbemiga find such a worthy place, so researched the local area and found the Children's Ward at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire to be in need of toys, and used Mr Oresanya’s prize to buy toys and gifts for the children.

A spokesperson from the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire commends Mr Oresanya’s donation:

“Your support of this unit from so far away is really appreciated by me as without this support we could not provide great toys for the children for all of them to enjoy”

So a big thank you to Olugbemiga for his kindness!
