Welcome to RDI

Application Deadline: Monday 27th May

Every student will take part in an online induction before being allowed to formally commence a course. This gives us the chance to fully explain online learning and helps ensure that you understand how to go about your studies.

Step by step support

Your induction will take you through everything you need to know. The online induction in ilearn explains everything including how to write reports, referencing styles, how ilearn works and details of how to contact your tutors. There will also be information about what to do if you can't submit an assignment or if you need extra help. Your Student Support Coordinator will be available to help you through this stage and explain anything that you may still have questions about.

You will also be given the handbook for your programme, meaning you will understand the module outcomes and how you’ll be assessed, as well as how to submit assignments. We offer you as much support as you need and ensure you are ready to begin your studies properly.

What is ilearn?

Our virtual learning environment uses computer software to support learning over the internet. It acts as a classroom, textbook, library, assessment centre, campus and communication network all-in-one which utilises the world-wide-web to allow anyone with Internet access to logon and study with all the support they require.

What makes ilearn so good?

The flexibility and simplicity is perfect for people with family commitments, careers or even first-time learners. The built-in study manager offers you a consistent check on key deadlines and updates from your online tutors and events, so that you can plan your study time effectively
