Over 25% of UK jobs are now available only to graduates, according to a recent survey conducted by the Institute of Education.
The study suggests that in the wake of a flat UK economy, there is an increased demand for skilled workers in the job market, with more and more employers looking for graduate labour to drive economic growth.
This brings great news to those seeking to further their education and career prospects.
Exploring alternative routes to higher skills
Attending a traditional campus-based university is not the only way to attain a UK higher education qualification – a fact supported by Neil Carberry, the CBI's director of education and skills:

Due to the need for increased affordability and flexibility in gaining higher education qualifications, online distance learning provides a sensible alternative to going to university.
RDI offer a wide range of UK university degrees, masters and MBA programmes delivered via the Internet. The virtual learning environment, ilearn enables students to study and interact with fellow colleagues and tutors from anywhere in the world. RDI is a cost-effective route to UK university qualifications as it is up to 60% more affordable than going to a UK university.
