A) Had been planning for it for a while
Q) Any adversity or issues along the way?
A) Have to consider funding from personal income, hectic and unpredictable work schedules a challenge for regular part-time, class-based study, need well-recognised qualification (I now appreciate the good learning experience I am having).
Q) How has Higher Education changed your career, personal life or you as a person?
A) My initial modules have already benefited me. MBA marketing has
improved my professionality in my work and helped me earn recognition
in my office. The course in general has been an eye opener and significantly changed
my perspective. My mental faculties have been well challenged: my
understanding is improved and my critical analysis sharpened. Now I abley take everything with a critical mind
Q) What do you believe are the main benefits of distance learning?
A) It maybe the best mode of learning. Not only do you learn at your own
pace, fitting your own schedule, you immediately apply the new learning
into your daily work. A course divided in manageable bites (e.g.
Bradford MBA) gives such a great experience.
Q) What will your qualification give you and what is next?
A) It will definitely give me a stepping stone to the next level. This
helps me consolidate my years of technical experience with highly
respected managerial qualification and be well positioned for key
managerial roles.
Next is to put into effective use everything I have learned for the
benefit of three: me, my employers and my country.
Q) Anything you'd like to add?
I have not been disappointed with my experience so far. It's truely
world class learning and exposes me to new perspectives beyond my local
experiences. The teaching methodology, quality of staff and learner
support services and infrastructure at Bradford was beyond my
expectation. True value for money. I can say more, but let me stop here.
