In 2009, Theophilus enrolled onto the MBA (University of Wales) with RDI. Below is an insight into his studies.

Q) Where do you live?

A) Accra-Ghana

Q) Where do you work?

A) I work full-time with Cadbury PLC as a Project Manager of the Cadbury Cocoa Partnership in Ghana. This is an intervention aimed at improving cocoa production and productivity in Ghana, as well a enhancing the livelihoods of cocoa farmers in Ghana.

Q) Did you always think you’d study to MBA level?

A) That has always been my dream. I have made several attempts and got countless admissions for further study around the globe. I always failed to raise the required funding! I was beginning to lose hope till I encountered RDI.

Q) Any adversity or issues along the way?

A) I still foresee financial difficulty along the way. My financial commitments are huge. I have responsibilities for my nuclear as well as my extended family. I am servicing some bank loans. But, I am convinced I need to do this MBA course and proceed to do a PHD.

Q) How has higher education changed your career, life or you as a person?

A) Higher education has changed my world view and affected the way I relate with people in a positive way.

Q) What will an MBA give you and where next?

A) Acquiring the MBA qualification in Project Management will make me more efficient in my work as Project Manager and expectantly open avenues for me to serve at a higher level.  I intend pursuing a PHD in Project Management after the MBA. I will then do the Management Consultancy course and go into lecturing and consultancy. My ultimate aim is to be an expert in management.

Q) Anything else you'd like to add?

A) I see a bright future with RDI. I know it will be tough but I am determined!
