"I currently live with my brother and his girlfriend, but will have to move in with my Dad soon as my brother and his partner are moving to Leeds next month.
I work full time as an Office Manager for a small concrete repair company called South West Concrete Repairs Ltd
I chose RDI because the course I wanted to do was not available from any of my local colleges/universities, I needed my course to be distance learning so that my course doesn't infringe on my working day. Out of all of the courses and course providers I searched through, RDI offered a far better service, structure and price than anyone else - RDI were the obvious choice.
Up until now I didn't know what I wanted to do for a career. I've had many different jobs with completely different skills required, but this job is by far the most diverse I've ever had. In order to do my job effectively, I needed to do this course to help open my mind to information and ideas I may be missing. I've always wanted to gain good qualifications and as this subject and the job I currently do are very interesting, this is a natural place to start my career.
So far higher education hasn't changed my career, personal life or me as a person, but I can already see the potential changes it will make. Gaining this qualification will probably aid in a potential pay rise, it will give me the leverage onto the next level of education and I will become a happier and prouder person.
I can learn as and when I have time, whether it be 10 minutes or 5 hours. I can work my study around my life and not my life around my study. With RDI in particular, I find the deadlines extremely useful and keeps me working and motivated all the time.
This qualification will give me the confidence, knowledge and skills to carry out my job more effectively. It will give me the leverage I need to move on to higher education and eventually gain the full degree.
My experience with RDI so far has been fantastic; I find they just get better and better!"
