"I am a working mother with a 10 year old child, and I am employed at the Medical University of the Americas where I've worked as an Administrative Assistance for the past 8 years. It has always been my desire to pursue my studies but due to financial status and the thought of relocating, I just did not find the zeal to do so.

I was introduced to RDI by my manager who attended a College Fair held every year. It captured my interest especially the part that says "study at home at your own pace". Immediately, I took up the offer and also encouraged a very close friend of mine as well.

We did the necessary requirements and got the notification of acceptance. Hence, the road to success began. (I must also mention that the cost of the course was one that was very affordable.)
 
I enjoyed studying with RDI, starting with the HND program. It was challenging, however determination and perseverance kept me focused. The help and encouragement received from the RDI office was impeccable. I completed the HND program and immediately went on to the BA programme with the University of Sunderland. The encouragement received from my family and friends have helped me to press on. (I do not want to make it seem as though it was an easy road as nothing good in life comes easy. To achieve your goals it takes a lot of hard work and commitment.)  Working during the day and having a child to attend after working hours you would understand it was tough on my part. Therefore, my study hours were from 10pm to 12am and again at 3am to 7am each day. My recreational life was at a stand still.

I have now completed my BA program and will be graduating 2nd December 2011 at the University of Sunderland in which I am a proud holder of BA (Hons) Business Management.
 
Distance Learning is a wonderful program to pursue especially if your life is something like mine. Never think you cannot do it. Success is a life achievement that is only acquired by reaching towards it.  I am glad I did take that step as it has changed my life immensely and I am glad I chose RDI to make it possible. My encouragement to those who might be presently thinking about it; make that step today! RDI are more than ready to change your life in a different direction.
