I live in Leicester in the UK and work full Time. My Title is European Service Manager for Donaldson Filtration (a US Company working in all types of filtration Vehicle, Electronic etc). I chose distance learning because my family and job commitments (lots of travel) prevent me from other forms of study

My experiences with RDI:

Enrolment and course selection process
This was very easy and straight forward; the staff were very helpful.

Financial process
Again no problem. The course was financed by my company and there were no problems with this. 

Study support
Very good! Alison has been a great help and always answered my question. The tutors were also good with some being very good. 

The course itself
It's a good challenge - the course was a great learning process for me.  The course material was well presented and as mentioned the tutors guidance was very supportive.  The exams were well organised and the fact that I passed shows that it works!

My relationship with RDI and support staff has been very good, especially with Alison who was very helpful. I have worked with RDI on other courses and found them to be a very well structured to support distance learning. They were very understanding of my needs and supportive in helping me to reach my goals.

For me, distance learning is great. I was able to fit the study into my very hectic schedule (I travel at lot with my job) and busy home life.  The flexibility of being able to plan my study instead of being tied down by fixed lessons was great.

I needed a degree to progress with my company and this course has given me that and more as I have learnt more about other areas of  business that I would normally not get involved with. Going forward the next step forward would be the MBA which again would enhance my personal development with my company.

I would definitely recommend distance learning to people in a similar situation to myself!
