What are the entry requirements for a distance learning marketing degree?
In general, to study a degree through RDI you must possess either 2 A-levels or an Access to Higher Education qualification. Although, candidates without any formal qualifications may be considered on their own merits and we encourage you to submit an application.
Am I eligible for funding to study marketing online?
If you meet three broad eligibility criteria, you will be able to apply for funding for your undergraduate course.
- You are UK and EU resident, living in England or Wales
- You are studying a full three-year honours degree or final year top-up or BTEC Level 5 HND
- You are studying this qualification for the first time
How long will the marketing degree take to complete?
Most courses are expected to be completed within 4.5 years. However, our online distance learning students have flexibility in setting their own pace of study, which means that the course can be completed in a minimum period of 3 years.
How does distance learning work for marketing?
Studying around 12 – 15 hours a week in your own time, you will develop skills and understanding specific to marketing planning and strategy, marketing communications and the role of marketers as sources of management intelligence to support effective decision making. You will also develop a range of transferrable skills that will aid you to pursue a business career or further relevant study.
